Ms. Verbon is International Giving’s founder and CEO. In the early 80’s, she founded a residential maid service. For 11 years, she grew ‘My Maid’ to 3 branches, 400 clients, a staff of 45, and ultimately sold it to an Atlanta-based Fortune 500 corporation.
She cofounded ‘Lionheart Classic Homes’, a high end residential construction company, and managed operations, sales and marketing for 6 years.
In 2007, she founded a 501(c) 3 ‘Foundation For Overcoming Abuse’. During that timeframe and for several years, she volunteered as a victim advocate for the Gwinnett Sexual Assault Center. She also volunteered with ‘Partnership Against Domestic Violence’ for about 5 years.
2009-2013, she co-directed a niche marketing initiative for Jim Ellis Automotive Dealerships, connecting with hundreds of companies (i.e. UPS, FedEx, Coca Cola, Delta Airlines, NBC Universal, Office Depot, Bank of America, etc.) to provide employee benefits to their HR departments nationwide. While there, she transitioned to the newly formed Marketing and Advertising Department for many months.
